Inukshuk / Actitivity 1 : Who is speaking?

In the story, there are four main characters: Yakone, Ila, Chena and Tala.
Beside the words, write down the name of the character who said them.

a) Wait for me you guys! Don’t leave me alone.

b) My grandfather told me some of them are even 1,000 years old. This inukshuk has a very long arm. Maybe it’s pointing to the village.

c) Like my mother. She has an artisan workshop.

d) We wanted to take a shortcut, but it got dark and we were lost. So we decided to sleep here. I was so worried I wouldn’t see you before you left.

e) I would never leave without saying goodbye.

f) Look at the inukshuk . It points to the North Star. The Inuit call it the star that never moves. Every time I see that star shining in the sky, I’ll think of you.
