    • Do a review activity noting on a chart or chalkboard all of the elements the students learned about the powwow.
    • Do the activity.

  • While reading, take a break and ask students to analyze the content of the relevant illustrations.
  • After reading:
    • Draw a parallel between powwow activities and those of a traditional Quebecois celebration.
    • Do the activity.
